Description:
The Department of International Studies at CIDE (Center for Research and Teaching in Economics) in Mexico City, seeks to fill two positions in International Relations, open to rank and subfield.

Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must be prepared to work in conjunction with the Department to develop programmatic content and project initiatives in areas related to International Relations. Candidates should have a doctorate in hand by the date of appointment (August 2008).

Preferred Qualifications:
Spanish language proficiency is not required at the time of hire, though candidates are expected to become proficient within a reasonable period of time.

Additional information:
CIDE is a public social science research institute with small, elite undergraduate and graduate programs. Salaries are comparable to US universities. The normal teaching load is one course per semester.
