The Departments of Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese and the Department of English are looking for scholars in any area of Hispanic and Transamerican Studies, but preference will be given to candidates with scholarship and teaching experience in the following areas: a) Mexican and Chicano/Latino literature, including Latino and Latina literature written in English; Border Studies (Mexico-US, with significant knowledge of Mexican literature, film or culture); Colonial or Postcolonial Hemispheric Studies. The successful candidate will teach four courses per year, three for the program in Hispanic literatures and cultures and one for the English Department.
