Seeking excellent scholar and committed educator to teach undergraduate and graduate students; share responsibilities for area; conduct a program of research; and contribute in the areas of professional and public service to the university, the community and the profession. Person filling the position will be closely affiliated with the UF Center for Latin American Studies.

The School of Art + Art History, organized within the College of Fine Arts, plays an important role in the academic life of the university and in the community. The School has 11 full-time art history faculty. Art History students currently include 86 undergraduate majors and numerous undergraduate minors, 14 M.A. students, 12 PhD students, and 18 students in the M.A. in Museology program. The Harn Eminent Scholar program provides visiting speakers in art history and museology. In total, the School has 34 full-time art and art history faculty with a total of 439 undergraduate art majors and 105 graduate students. Other areas of study include General Art Studies, Art Education, Visual Arts (majors in Ceramics, Creative Photography, Drawing, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Painting, Printmaking, and Sculpture). Degree programs include the B.A., B.F.A., M.A., M.F.A., and Ph.D. The School is accredited by NASAD and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
