The Elliott School of International Affairs and the Political Science Department of the George Washington University invite applications for a regular, full-time faculty position in International Political Economy, to begin in fall 2008. This is a tenure-eligible, rank open position. We are especially interested in candidates at the Professor and Associate Professor level, although candidates at the Assistant Professor level are encouraged to apply. Basic qualifications: PhD in Political Science with a regional focus in Latin America. Successful applicants must demonstrate strong theoretical interests, an active research agenda as evidenced by working papers and publications, preparation to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the political economy of Latin America, and an interest in policy issues that will support the missions of the Department and the Elliott School.
