Associate Professor, Comparative Literature. Specialization in Visual Culture (including film, video, photography, or new media); strength in visual theory of interest. UMd Program emphasizes Western Hemispheric and Atlantic, Postcolonial, and diasporic studies. Must work in at least one language in addition to English. PhD, significant publications, and teaching experience required. Starting Fall 2008; tenured or tenure-track. Salary competitive and dependent upon qualifications.
