Description:
The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures invites applications for a Language Program Director/Lecturer in Spanish. Responsibilities include coordinating and supervising multiple sections of first and second-year language classes, assisting in the training, supervision, and mentoring of graduate student teaching assistants and first-year lecturers, and periodically teaching a graduate course in foreign language pedagogy and methodology.

Minimum Requirements:
M.A. and five years teaching at university level, native or near-native proficiency in Spanish
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior coordinating or administrative experience, familiarity with a range of language-teaching methodologies, including technology-related pedagogy, and experience in curriculum development. Doctorate and knowledge of another Romance language highly desirable.
