Description:
The College of Saint Rose, an independent, nonsectarian institution of 5,140 students, seeks a Dean of the School of Arts and Humanities to be appointed for the 2008/2009 academic year. The School of Arts and Humanities maintains 78 full-time faculty in 7 academic departments and 2 interdisciplinary programs. Successful candidates will demonstrate dedication to the Liberal Arts, practice a collegial collaborative administrative style, and possess strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
Deadline:
Review of applications will begin November 2007, continuing until appointment is made.
Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must document a terminal degree in one of the school’s disciplines and demonstrate excellence in teaching, research, or creative endeavors. Administrative experience should include: grant procurement, accreditation reporting, fiscal management, strategic planning, program assessment, and faculty development.
