Description:
Tenure track position in secondary education at the assistant professor level beginning July 2008. Wheaton offers undergraduate teacher licensure programs within a strong liberal arts environment in early childhood education, elementary education and secondary education (biology, English, history, mathematics and three foreign languages: French, German and Spanish.)

Minimum Requirements:
Ph.D. or Ed. D. in hand and demonstrated experience in secondary education, specifically training high school teachers.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates with at least three years experience teaching at the 8-12 level. The candidate should also have supervised student teachers. Experience in the fields of urban education, multicultural education and/or educational policy is also highly desirable.
