Description:
The Department of Political Science invites applications for a tenure-track position in International Political Economy at the rank of assistant professor beginning Fall, 2010. PhD (or ABD) in Political Science or International Relations is required. Preference will be given to candidates with research and teaching interests in globalization and/or global inequalities. Teaching duties will include introductory courses in International Relations and Global Studies, as well as related upper level undergraduate offerings. The successful candidate will also be expected to undertake an active program of research that leads to publication and presentation in peer-reviewed scholarly outlets and, where available, to seek extramural funding for that research.
