The Center for Global Education at Augsburg College is offering its annual faculty development seminar in Nicaragua. The seminar is entitled, "Education for Global Citizenship and will take place June 23-July 1, 2012. This professional development seminar is designed for faculty from a variety of disciplines in order to explore the meaning of global citizenship in the Nicaraguan context. Participants will have the opportunity to explore best practices of experiential education and network with colleagues. Each day will feature field trips, guest speakers, and opportunities for interaction with a broad cross-section of Nicaraguan society, particularly those who have been underrepresented in academia.
