Call for chapters

The Contemporary Latin American Bildungsroman (1990 to the present), edited by Martín L. Gaspar, Norman Valencia and Juan Poblete. 

We seek chapters that will contribute to an ongoing book project on The Contemporary Latin American Bildungsroman (1990 to the present) including literary texts, films, audiovisual series, internet-based formats as well as ChicanX-LatinX cultural productions. The volume will be in English and will follow MLA style, 9th edition, with endnotes. Each chapter will be between 5000-7000 words and, if accepted, due on April 30th, 2024.

At this point, we invite chapter proposals or abstracts of up to 900 words to be sent to the three editors by September 30th, 2023:

Paneles, talleres y mesas redondas patrocinadas

 Se abre el plazo de recepción de propuestas de paneles, talleres y mesas redondas patrocinadas por nuestra sección en el congreso de LASA2024 (Bogotá-Colombia). Estas sesiones tienen la particularidad de que no necesitan ser evaluadas, sino que quedan automáticamente aprobadas en el programa del congreso de LASA, previa selección y aprobación por nuestro Consejo Directivo. Para participar, es necesario formar parte de la membresía de LASA y la sección de Cono Sur.

Las propuestas deben enviarse, usando la plantilla descargable antes del 4 de septiembre de 2023 a los emails: anag@ugr.es y j.j.locane@ilos.uio.no.
